Senior consultant Steve Barker FRICS FBEng RMaPS NRAC Consultant has been undertaking statutory fire surveys for many years and holds the NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management Certificate. The RICS have been committed to establishing an accreditation scheme for fire risk assessors to meet international standards. The RICS have appointed Warringtonfire, the UK’s largest independent fire testing, consultancy, research and certification organisation as the certification body for the scheme. We are pleased to announce that Steve Barker is one of the first Chartered Surveyors to achieve this accreditation and to be classed as a competent person under the scheme.
